St. Agnes Outreach Program

Introducing St. Agnes Outreach Program!

During these challenging times of social distancing, we have created the St Agnes Outreach Program to ensure that no one in our community is left alone or without the help they need. We are particularly concerned about seniors who might be more vulnerable during this time.

We are aware that you may know of others who might not be registered with us or connected with our Facebook page.

Would you please SHARE THIS and encourage anyone you know who is vulnerable during this time to reach out to us in the ways below?

To this end, we have mailed a letter to all seniors who have registered with us to check in with them, and we will be following up with them via a phone call this weekend.

We will be asking these questions:

  1. In this frightening time do you have anyone in your immediate household or a family member that you can talk to? If not, would you like someone from the Parish or a friend to regularly contact you just to say hello?

  2. Do you have a home phone/computer/smart phone?

  3. Do you have an active Facebook account and have you “liked” the St. Agnes Church page on Facebook?

  4. To ensure you are getting adequate nutrition, would you like to speak to our nutritionist?

  5. How are you getting food from the supermarket and medical prescriptions from the pharmacy?

  6. How can your priests and/or other ministries assist you in this difficult and stressful time to feel closer to God?

If you would like to reach us directly, please:

  • email our HELP email: saintagneshelps@gmail.com;

  • or call the parish office between 8am-3pm, Monday to Friday at 732-388-7852 and speak with a parish representative.
