Catholic Faith Formation Catechist

St. Agnes Church believes that helping our children to learn to live the Gospel is a commitment between the family and the church.  Our Catholic Faith Formation (CFF) program is focused on helping children grow in faith and to develop a sense of community to serve God.  Our program begins as early as Kindergarten and continues to eighth grade.

We are always seeking individuals willing to help our children along the path of faith by being teachers in our CFF program. Teachers are provided with all the materials they need to successfully teach our children.   All you need is a love of children, patience and the desire to impart the faith of God to them.  By volunteering to be a CFF Catechist, you will be part of a community of volunteers who share a special bond and who are very important to our church.

CFF Classes are held on various days of the week to fit many schedules.

Sunday: 8:00 - 9:30am - Grades 1 through 8
                 9:45 - 11:15am – Grades 1 through 8
Monday: 6:30 - 8:00pm – Grades 1 through 8
Tuesday: 6:30 - 8:00pm – Grades 1 through 8

Volunteers are also welcome to assist with the family-based "Come to the Table" program which meets six times a year on Saturday/Sunday afternoons.

If you'd like to volunteer as a catechist, but cannot commit to the weekly schedule, substitute catechists are also needed throughout the year.
