In the Sacraments, we begin with signs we can see, feel, or hear;
water, oil, bread and wine, human words and gestures.
God acts through the ordinary to make our lives extraordinary.
Blessing and praising God is one way we respond to God’s action in our lives.

The Sacrament of the Body and Blood of Christ.

When the community gathers to celebrate the Eucharist, we remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross and give thanks to God the Father for the gift of his Son.   By sharing in this sacred meal, we are united in faith and receive the nourishment and strength we need to live as God wants us to live.

Eucharist is one of the three sacraments of Initiation.  Children usually receive the sacrament of Holy Eucharist in the second grade.
