Baptism

The Sacrament that incorporates us into Jesus Christ and His Church.

Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit and the door which gives access to the other sacraments.

Through Baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of Christ, incorporated into the Church, and made sharers in its mission. Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word.

If you are interested in having your child baptized at St. Agnes, please read the requirements below to begin the process. Once you have made an Baptism inquiry, our Ministries Coordinator, Patti Conheeney, will be in touch.

Where our faith journey begins!

Please connect with Pastoral Ministries Coordinator, Patti Conheeney, at least 6 months prior to baptism by using the inquiry form.

Register with the Parish. Attend and worship with our Parish Community for at least 3 months. Get involved! Get to know our Pastor!

Parents and Godparents will be responsible for obtaining and submitting the documents needed to schedule a baptism. Godparents must provide a signed and sealed Confirmation Certificate.

Join us for our 2 part baptismal preparation sessions. Meet other families embarking on this faith journey. Both Godparents are required to attend the 2nd session.

The Parish Community of St. Agnes Church welcomes you and your new child into our family!
